What is botox?
Botox is the comercial name for botulinic toxin type A elaborated by Allergan labs.
How does it works?
Applied to a muscle it produces a relaxation and a parcial supression of the nerval impulse. The result is a soften in the expression lines of the face.
There are two types of wrinkles:
Static wrinkles, that are there all the time when the face is relaxed or in a neutral expression.
